Hi Josh,

I am still in the 'would love to have phase' but have been racking my brain as to whether I would be better off with the SLR style Canon S5 - which isn't really an SLR, but comes with something like (don't quote me on this) a built in flash, and 12x optical zoom (thats like the equivalent of a uber massive 350 mm SLR lens), and you can control the lens just like you would an SLR and is probably less expensive than the entry range digital SLR with just a 35 - 80mm lens.

Did you have the same dilemma? I'd love to know your thoughts.
